What does “trauma-informed” mean? This workshop will provide an overview of what it means to practice as a trauma-informed clinician. We will explore what happens on a biological, emotional, cognitive, and behavioral level when trauma exists and persists, incorporating theories of both trauma and stress. A review of diagnoses and case examples will be discussed.
