Ideal Parenting Figure Protocol from The Three Pillars Approach to Attachment Issues

Participants will be able to describe the 4 categories of attachment patterns and how they can be identified in adult clients. Participants will learn how attachment patterns and child abuse intersect to influence the development of adult psychopathology. Participants will learn the 5 factors that compose a secure attachment relationship between parent and child. Participants will understand the definition of each of the 3 pillars in this treatment model and how they work together. Participants will identify how outcome research supports the effectiveness of this model.
