—  And the Stages of Change Across Various Social Work, Mental Health, and Healthcare Settings —

February 26, 2021 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

MI is an effective treatment approach typically associated with the addictions field. Recently, social workers have found this approach to be useful in a variety of clinical settings. Health care, emergency rooms, and school social work/counselors are just a few of the venues in which MI is becoming more popular and effective.
At the end of this three-hour seminar, participants will walk away with:

• A functional understanding of Motivational Interviewing (MI)
• Comprehension of the stages of change and its’ relation to MI;
