Grief Therapy:

— Helping Clients Understand the Journey Through Loss, Death and Bereavement —

This workshop introduces participants to the nature and centrality of the experience of loss and subsequent grief in their personal lives, in the lives of their clients, and in their role as professional helpers. Participants will review Worden’s Tasks of Grieving and develop skills and practices to help clients navigate them. The workshop will also address complicated grief and the challenges it poses. Attendees will engage in experiential activities and projects that can be used later in their work with clients.
