Families and Children:

— Navigating the Gray Areas of Ethical and Legal Decision Making —

February 5, 2021 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.

In an ideal clinical environment, ethical and legal decisions will coincide; however, this is not always the case when working with families and children. Taking an interactive approach, this course will review some commonly experienced ethical and legal impasses, distinguish instances when ethical and legal decisions are in contradiction with one another, and help attendees to think through the nuances of these clinical experiences.
