•It directly guides treatment
•It facilitates coordination of care because everyone is using the same language
•It helps determine if accommodations are warranted and what kind are most appropriate

•Details matter: assessment, record review, and making sense of psychological test results
•Know how to cross-reference: multiple and diverse data points give us the greatest likelihood of discerning nuances
