Focusing on traumatic brain injury (TBI) and strangulation, this seminar will examine the impact of domestic violence (DV) on mental health. Clinicians will learn about the prevalence of TBI and strangulation in cases of DV, how the physical, emotional, and cognitive consequences of TBI and strangulation can manifest in client behavior, and how to effectively respond to improve client outcomes.
