While we may have all glossed over the different types of attachment in any introductory psychology class, have we really ever settled in to understand why some are healthy and why some are toxic? This workshop will discuss the phenomenon of the helicopter parent, the harmful effects of toxic attachment relationships, and the not-so-easy feat of achieving a healthy level of attachment from child to parent. Secure, Insecure, & Ambivalent attachments will also be dissected during this workshop.
