|About the Presenter:||Clark Beckley holds a Master in Social Work (MSW) with concentrations in mental health and program development and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Clark has extensive clinical experience working with adolescents and adults, supporting and managing multi-disciplinary teams, and worked for nearly seven years as a suburban police officer. In addition to speaking to professionals at conferences and other trainings, he has provided training on a variety of topics at the Chicago Police Department Training Academy, the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS), the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, and many more organizations.|
His private practice, Your Story Counseling, P.C. provides supportive interventions for clients throughout life and specializes in treatment of trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, and compulsive or addictive behaviors. Clark also meets with professionals and groups to enhance their work-based relationships and productivity. He has developed treatment and recovery programs to support public safety and medical professionals. In all, he has twenty years of experience in public safety and mental health.
