Presenter Name:Ashley Ice, LCSW
About the Presenter:Ashley Ice, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a certified Trauma Focused CBT therapist, currently in the helping profession as a Clinical Supervisor of the Family Based Clinical Services and Triple P Program at Hephzibah Children’s Association. She is a Doctor of Social Work candidate (2024), with a master’s in Social Work and a bachelor’s in Psychology. Further, Ashley is a graduate of various yearlong psychodynamic fellowship trainings, and an ongoing member in Womencare Counseling’s Trauma Consultation & Training Group since 2017. Additional experiences include working in multiple levels of treatment settings, with very complex cases of self-injury, eating disorders, and complex trauma. Lastly, child welfare has become Ashley’s professional home base as she’s been promoted through varying positions at Hephzibah, and has newly launched a vicarious trauma peer group program within her own agency, focusing on helping social workers in child welfare recognize and respond to the secondary traumatic stress that inevitably surfaces with high caseloads of complex trauma.
