About the Presenter:

Dr. Nancy Rivas has been licensed as a clinical psychologist in Illinois since 2001, working in a variety of settings with all ages. Her graduate work focused on the integration of psychology and Christian theology, which she continues to practice with clients who request faith-inclusive treatment. During her postdoc year she received a wonderful foundation in the infant mental health field with ages 0 to 3 and their caregivers. Her clinical work now centers around attachment and trauma across the lifespan, with particular care for adoptive families. Her current professional focus is growing the team at Flourishing Lives Counseling. Some of her favorite things in life include books, rainbows, chocolate chip cookies, citrus scents, and running outside in sunshine.
