Internships at FCS

Family Counseling Service offers internship placement opportunities for 2nd year master’s level students in counseling, psychology, marriage & family therapy, and social work programs.

FCS is proud to announce we are able to accept doctoral students for both therapy and diagnostic externships.

Training behavioral healthcare clinicians since 1984, our internship program accepts a limited number of students each year from a variety of schools.

An emphasis is placed on experiential learning through clinical contact with a wide variety of client types, utilizing multiple theoretical constructs and techniques.

FCS also offers diagnostic practicum placements for doctoral students. As a member of ACEPT, FCS abides by ACEPT guidelines and encourages prospective students to apply according to ACEPT protocol. Application materials should be sent to the attention of Natalie Pamphile, Psy.D.
